Lawrence and his team from Inquirer.net took their time to cover the Ultramarathon Event. It was timely that their team were in Subic Freeport for the weekend’s Bike Fest Competition. Jinoe Gavan aka Manokan Express/takbo.ph requested Lawrence to cover the race and after some exhanges of telephone calls and SMS with me, they arrived at the Starting Area just in time before the race started. My warmest thanks to Jinoe for his support and initiative and to Lawrence and his team for covering the event and posting the following video at Internet.net.

…and I appeared 3 times (quick!). Not bad for not so good ultramarathoner like me. At least, I’m on video hehehe. And that scene was in Lubao, where many has just fallen and stayed out of the contention.

Ang bagal ng internet ko. Can’t view the video yet. Actually, it was Lawrence who first texted me on who to contact regarding the race. I gave your number right away. Congrats in a great race. We will be looking forward for next year. Im also looking forward to join this but not anytime soon. 🙂

i love the shot where participants were puffing their way up the zigzag road, it’ll be etched forever in my mind -night running is my weakness, i wear prescription lenses, dang!.

Great vid, wish it could have shown all participants though. Asking for the whole race, aba that’s a lot of video time. haha
I saw the 2 guys I ran with for a while. Your names escape me now but I hope you did reach the finish. If not, congrats for giving your very best. It was pretty hot when we met up. (#7 and #45)
