After browsing the Internet, I found the picture of Tess Geddes in the website of Lisa Smith-Batchen.
In four days, she will be at the Starting Line of the “Marathon Des Sables” as one of the 850 participants coming from 39 countries. She is the only representative from the Philippines!
Bald Runner 
In the “Running in the Sun” (Badwater DVD), Lisa Smith-Batchen led most of the way but DNF’ed. She won Badwater the year before. Lisa has also won Marathon des Sables. Two of my friends (George Velasco and Leigh Corbin) introduced me to Tess. They are all running MDS this year under Lisa’s coaching. I’ll be following the race coverage for sure. Our kababayan has a very impressive running resume. Mabuhay!!

ben, i saw lisa at the 2008 badwater and i’ve a regular visitor of her blog. no wonder, tess geddes is good in ultra running in the desert due to her training with lisa smith-batchen. it will be nice to be sending tess some message during the MDS. thanks again.
