Update On The BDM Letters Of Intent Submitted

As of today, May 16, 2026, I have already received 370 e-mails from runners who submitted their intention to join the 2027 BDM 102K and BDM 160K, combined. I have already opened and read 150 e-mails. Yes, I have been reading each e-mail sent.

Out of the 150 e-mails that I have opened and read, there are 60 applicants for the 2027 BDM 160K where 90% of them are gunning to claim the 2026-2027 BDM Grand Slam Award/Trophy. Some are BDM 102K finishers in the previous editions who would try again to finish it. Out of the remaining unread e-mails, I am confident that more of these applicants are trying to be included in the number of slots for this event. From my Facebook announcement, only 60 slots will be allocated for the 2027 BDM 160K Ultramarathon Race.

On the other hand, there are already 156 applicants for the 2027 BDM 102K. This number of runners will increase as I complete the process of reading all the submitted e-mails.From my Facebook announcement, only 150 slots will be allocated to join the 2027 BDM 102K Ultramarathon Race.

Letters of Acceptance will start to be sent this coming Monday, May 18, 2026 for those who will join the 2027 BDM 160K Ultramarathon Race. Once the number of Paid Registered Runners will reach 60, the Registration will be closed.

Once the Letters of Acceptance for the 2027 BDM 160K Ultra are sent, Letters of Acceptance for the 2027 BDM 102K Ultra will start. Again, this will be a race for the Paid Registered Runners to reach the total of 150 runners. Oncce the number of slots are filled, the Registration will be closed.

Good luck to all the BDM Applicants!
