The US Charge d’Affaires to the Philippines Heather Variava gave a unique gift to the newly-elected President Ferdinand “BongBong” Marcos Jr during her Courtesy Call. This picture was taken from the Facebook Page of BBM.

There are two colors (dark blue and white) of this kind of Basketball Jersey which was the Official Uniform of the “Dream Team” of the US Basketball Team in the 1992 Summer Olympics which was held in Barcelona, Spain. This particular Jersey was the uniform of Michael Jordan.

There are so many meanings and symbols or interpretations of this unique gift from the US Government Representative based in Manila (US Embassy). If you know something about the US Basketball “Dream Team” and how they played in the Olympic Games to become the Gold Medal in Basketball, specifically about Michael Jordan, then you will know what I mean.
