		<description><![CDATA[Hi Jovie.  I agree with you, especially about a runner aiming for 4000 to 8000 meters of interval work at 95-100%.  Initially in February-March, I was doing 10 x 400s but have eventually gone to 7 x 600s and 5 x 800s.  Since I&#039;ve alternated this on Tuesdays in April, the times in races have become a lot better.

Next month, I&#039;m going to incorporate 4 x 1000s, something I&#039;ve never done before.  I&#039;ve once in a group workout have done 3 x 1200 but never attempted it again.
