As I’ve Promised…

6 02 2009

As I’ve promised on my answers to the different comments of my readers regarding the availability of a Tarpaulin Signage to remind the runners, joggers and walkers using the ULTRA Oval Track, I am showing on this post the pictures of the signage. I think there is no need to explain about the following pictures. I would like to take this opportunity to thank QuickSilver Running for the suggested idea. Also, to those who commented positively and negatively for my actuation as the “oval track marshall” sometime this week, thanks for your comments and I got your “message” and hope that you got my “message”, too!

Good job! All oval tracks should have this.

Hi BR,

Nice looking sign there! I’m glad I was able to contribute in my own way.

You guys and gals keep on rocking. Run strong!

Respectfully,

QuickSilver

The Ultra admin should be ashamed of this. We all pay 29 pesos every time we run. Its really not much to have the signs made.

Hopefully no more incidents. Some people just tend to ignore signs.

That’s what I call ACTION. “Walk the Talk” or better yet “RUN the Talk”

You may also want to ask them to lose the iPods, if anyone is still wearing them on the track. It’s a bit like driving with a hearing disability and can lead to collisions and pileups.

Thank you so much sir. Another one for the books for you! Doing this can make it safe not only for the “fast runners” but to those “slow runners” and “walkers” alike. Only you can make this sir! Keep it up! Always!

Ipods can be worn responsibly. You just cant have it too loud. Same goes as when you’re drivin on the road. Sound system cant be too loud that you wont be able to hear those around you.

miraclecello, I agree with you on the ipods. I’m really against ipod, and nike+ for encouraging running with music. I’m sorry, but that’s just my opinion…
