"sori" must have touched the send button,so cont'd..... in Baguio"56-'60), I was just a mediocre runner. Which reminds me, Alex Cabusora was our long distance runner then. He was really good. God bless him and may he rest in peace. So far, I've ran 40 marathons. Looking to see if I can come to participate in your Bataan Ultra marathon which should be an lifetime experience.

I left the Pinas before I was 20 so I'm afraid, I don't any info on our running history. Any way, your idea of a Hall of Fame for athletics is great.

Keep up the good work and great things you are doing for our kababayan.
Written a long and broken comment so I had better sign off for now. Have a good day/night.

Hi BR,
First, let me greet you a "Happy New Year"! I was introduced to your site by a friend(Tet Alberto from Baguio) who comes to run with me in the NYC marathon. I find your postings interesting and challenging especially in getting our people to running/jogging/walking or any other physical activity that will make us healthier and maybe extend our lives a little longer. The running community there in our Pinas is lucky to have you as an fine example, motivator and doing everything in your power to make things the way it should be. More power to you and God bless you.

I, too, am an avid 68 year young runner here in NJ for the past 15 years. I started running at 54 while I was a mail carrier of which I retired from. Prior to that, I retired from the S. Navy. Altho, I was into running in h/s & college
