This is my Birthday Gift from my Marathon Kids!
My son, John, just forwarded a confirmation notice/approval of my offcial entry to participate in the 2008 San Francisco Marathon (SFM) this coming 03 August 2008.
My race bib number is 8586. My son and daughter will be running with me in this marathon.

Wow, running past the tourists and the seagulls at the Embarcadero would be awesome! I hope the route does not go through Nob Hill though ha ha

Good luck at SFM! The hills aren’t too bad; the organizers intentionally avoided the steep ones in the city. The highest rise is 300 ft and most of the climbs are gradual. Just include some hill training and you’ll do fine.

taki, i’ve been thinking of boston marathon but i have to run a marathon that will qualify me to join such race
ms jaymie, i will be posting my daily activities leading to TSFM most especially now that i am retired from the active military service. it will be a memorable one to be running w/ my kids in this event. wish me luck.
mark, it is a matter of setting the example to our kids that they will try what we are doing. in due time, your kid will learn to value physical fitness.
