The DND-AFP Gintong Pangarap Running Club, Inc is announcing the conduct of a Half-Marathon and 5K running events on 15 June 2008 at Camp Aguinaldo Grandstand. The Half-Marathon race starts at 5:30 AM while the 5K race will start at 6:00 AM.
Details and flyers of this race will be available at the 2nd Champion Run on 11 May 2008 in Marikina City.

loony, hopefully, my staff will establish a sign-up booth on 11 may at the 2nd Champion Run in Marikina City.
marga, starting on 11 may, we will accept registrations at the 2nd Champion Run. the host of this half-marathon will be GHQ Camp Aguinaldo and the course will be inside the camp and along roads outside the camp. this is totally a different route from that villamor’s race. please join us!

marga, you can register at the office of the DND-AFP Gintong Pangarap’s Office at the Fire Station of Camp Aguinaldo. look for Maj Turno. but, i suggest you have to wait up to may 11 to register. my staff are still preparing for the documents & papers needed. we’ll expect the whole family to join the race. thanks!

May sponsors ka na ba for the event? Maybe you can work something out with Fitness First. Naghahanap sila ng events to counter what Golds is doing with their Men’s health series.
mark, wala pa akong sponsors from the private sector. anyway, thanks for the suggestion. my staff will finalize everything tomorrow with regards to corporate sponsorships. for sure, we will send them a letter. thanks again!

I wont be able to run any races on the 15th and 16th as we will be out of town for my wife’s birthday. I will be missing the 8th DND AFP Gintong Pangarap 21km with much regret.
Surely I shouldnt miss the next event this coming September 2008.

You got that right! I hope she wont see this post. hehehe I’ve yet to come up with the ultimate gift though. Normally its very hard to get her something that she really appreciates. Maybe being with the family without any other agenda (no surf ski paddling or running while there on the beach) would help add to please her on the special day.
