It’s nice that your kids are supporting this local event. Sad to hear what happened to your daughter’s Bib 2 years ago. Last years Packet pick-up was done at the Convention Center which our Store had a very nice booth and went really well considering that its only their a second year. This year will totally be different, Packet pick-up will be done on race day at the LA Zoo. My store will be the one in-charge of the Gear Check-in since it’s a Point to Point race. We will gather all personal belongings at the start and will make sure that they get it at the finish area. Hope all goes well since it’s a very big responsiblity. I have to rent a truck and gather 15 volunteers(all promised new shoes) to make it happen. I will keep you posted if there are any changes because I will be doing a walk through with the organizers to finalize the course lay-out this coming October 5th.

I see that you are training really hard lately! Goodluck with your running.
